Red Goes Pink

The “Red Goes Pink Tea” for Breast Cancer Awareness was held on October 21st, 2023, with theme of “Fight, Hope, Believe…Deltas for a Cure” at the Community Life Development Center. The guest speakers Mrs. Stefanie L. Willis-Turner MSN, BSN, RN, OCN, Drs. Royshanda Smith, Sharon Coaxum, M.D., OBGYN and MAC's very own Paula Blevins were enlightening as they shared tips on prevention, treatment, and risks of breast cancer. They also spoke of the community having a better understanding and to challenge the disparities in healthcare for African Americans.
