Delta Days at The State Capital

The Mobile Alumnae Chapter is recognized at the 2022 Delta Days at The State Capitol in Montgomery, AL., with three prestigious awards. The recipient of the Dr. Yvonne Kennedy Servant Leadership Award is Rep. Barbara Drummond; Katryna Lowery Kinn is the recipient of the Ella Bell Visionary Award; and the Mobile Alumnae Chapter is the recipient of the Social Action Trailblazer Award, which was accepted by Political Awareness and Involvement Committee Chair Annette Lucas and Social Action Team. The awards were presented during the Alabama Delta Days at the Capitol on March 31, 2022.

MAC's Political Awareness and Involvement Committee successfully register citizens to vote; educates voters and non-voters about issues that impact the community and aligns programs with those of the Social Action and National Delta initiatives and programs. The winners were nominated by MAC's Awards and Recognitions Committee led by Chair Constance Rozier.
