She was initiated into the Beta Eta chapter of Delta Sigma Theta in 1959 at Alabama State University.  From 1964—1966, she diligently served as President of the Mobile Alumnae Chapter.

She is the chairperson of the Ways and Means Committee and very active member of the Building Committees. She is best known for her spirit behind the McRae's Charity Sales.

This distinguished diva serves on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society and is the thriving force behind the success of the Delta Sigma Theta Relay for Life Team.

She serves on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, is a member of the Head Start Policy Council and is the Assistant Principal at Baker High School. This dedicated and spirited member of our illustrious chapter is happily married to Mr. Simon Doss, Jr.
