Tommie Brock Conaway was initiated into the Beta Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Fall 1970. 

She received her Bachelor and Masters in Elementary Education at Alabama State University and Administrative Certification from the University of Mobile.  She currently serves as the Principal of Daphne Intermediate School.

In her many leadership roles, she served as Mobile Alumnae's 1st Vice President . She was also the chair of the Building Committee which spearheaded the inception of the chapter's state of the art facility.

Soror Conaway also served as the the Leader of the Minerva Circle for Spring 2004 Membership Intake and currently serves at the President of the Mobile Alumnae Chapter.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis and shopping.
