Alberta Davis was initiated through the Dayton Alumnae (OH) Chapter and has been a proud member of our beloved sorority since 1973. She currently serves as an education specialist for the Mobile AIDS Support Services (MASS), provides motivational and educational discussion for domestic violence intervention programs and is the Executive Director of the Young Women's Christian Association (YMCA)

At Indiana State University, she received her Master of Science in Criminology, at the University of Mississippi she obtained her Masters in Social Work and at Alabama A&M, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Alberta Davis facilitates workshops in cultural diversity, staff motivation and teen pregnancy programs. She serves as the Chairperson of Mobile Alumnae's Social Action Committee, and serves on numerous steering committees and advisory boards in the Mobile community.

Her honors include Outstanding Young Women of America, Social Worker of the Year, nominated Mobilian of the Year, received the American Red Cross Citation for Exceptional Volunteer Service, Boys and Girls Program Award for Excellence and Midtown Sertoma Club's Service to Mankind Club Award.  In its quest for the Finer Woman, the Mobile Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. named her Woman of the Year 2001.
